Your service as a caregiver to an active or retired member of our armed forces is unlike the experience of any other caregiver. Join us for a day dedicated to exploring the rewards and challenges unique to those who care for men and women who have served our country. You'll leave with insight on special services available to support you, as well as new connections to resources and individuals that can guide you on the caregiving journey. 

 

Our "Caring for the Military & Veteran Caregiver" conference welcomes caregivers and caregiving experts, who present on important topics relevant to the experience of caring for active and retired military of any age. Topics scheduled for the 2018 conference included:

 

  • Supporting our Hidden Heroes: The Military Caregiver Journey

  • Wounded Warriors: Their Last Battle  

  • Operation Family Caregiver: Supporting Military Caregivers

  • VA Caregiver Support Program: There's Help for You

  • VA Healthcare Benefits and City of Jacksonville VA Services

 

As with all of our "Caring for the Caregiver" conferences, attendees enjoy complimentary breakfast and lunch, as well as the chance to win door prizes. Complimentary respite care is available by request.

 

Continuing education credit will be available for eligible professional disciplines.
