Virtual Communities for Alzheimer’s Caregivers


When caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease, it helps to connect with others who relate to your experiences. The Alzheimer’s Association is committed to reaching a plugged-in generation and using technology to assist more caregivers more conveniently.

Google Hangout

Registration Required

On the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m., the Google Hangout provides an easy and convenient way for caregivers to get the information and support right where they are, without the need for travel or arranging care for their loved ones.

The interactive nature of Google Hangout allows participants to learn and share from one another and conveniently acquire information on caring for their loved one. Register: 800.272.3900

ALZConnected is an online community powered by the Alzheimer’s Association for everyone affected by Alzheimer’s, including people with dementia, caregivers, friends, family members, neighbors, as well as those who have lost someone to the disease.

You can tap into a diverse community via our message boards where you can chat live with other members, or you may choose to create a private group organized around a specific topic.
